The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign provides excellent opportunities for undergraduate growth with undergraduate research as well as the availability of renowned faculty that I felt would assist me in building a successful future.
Why NRES? – Specifically, why did you choose to study Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences?
Since my youth, I have been involved in natural exploration and have felt passionate about the upkeep of our natural resources. It came as a natural progression for me to continue this passion through environmental conservation and the NRES major provides the best path for this pursuit.
